WELCOME TO CLINTON'S CAUSE
Hi, my name is Clinton and I am 4 years old! I have Autism Spectrum Disorder and have built this web page, with Mommy and Daddy's help, to raise awareness of the hope and healing that is available to children in my condition. There are kids in my condition who are RECOVERING from Autism! This recovery is happening through a wide variety of treatments. It is really a journey of Love, Faith, Hope and Healing.
My treatment consists of receiving adjustments from my amazing wellness doctor, taking a pharmaceutical grade fish oil and a probiotic, as well as a unique diet. My diet is called the GFCFSF diet. This stands for Gluten Free Casein Free Soy Free. Gluten is a wheat protein and casein is a caking agent used in milk products. Basically this means I don't have to eat any preprocessed and prepackaged foods. My vegetables are all organic and Mommy and Daddy have the privelege to make everything from scratch for me. No McDonald's for me, however Mommy makes some awesome chicken nuggets that I think are better than McDonald's using rice flour and olive oil. I started my diet in May of 2009 and I have gone from being completely non verbal to having a vocabulary of over 300 words!! Some days I forget that I can talk, or there is so much stimulation around me I can't process my words quickly enough, so I usually just tug on Mommy's shirt or scream really loud to get what I need.
A lot of people don't realize what a kid like me experiences. First of all, I don't talk often. I try to, but sometimes it is quite challenging to understand me. I have major tummy issues. I used to suffer from chronic diarrhea, that has improved a lot. I still get severe gas cramps, ear aches and infections, allergies, vomiting, sleepless nights, major sensitivity to any type of sudden change to my environment, obsessive control disorder (yes at 4 years old), severe sweating, body odor, flapping hands and feet. I had surgery in May of 2009 to correct a tongue tie I had that had gone undetected and also had to have some fluid drained out of my ear from an infection. Autism has been described as an abnormal response to everyday stimuli. This is pretty accurate, but as you go through the pages on this site you will see that Autism is really nothing more than an abundance of toxicity and deficiency of cell function. If you see a kid in the store screaming please don't judge, because they very well could have Autism.

I wanted this website to be created so that when other kids are diagnosed, their Mommies and Daddies would have somewhere to go and see what kind of resources are available for their kids too!
