Ok... sorry I kind of took a vacation. We have had soooo much going on. We had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season around my house. We moved into a new house right after Christmas. I am still seeing Dr. Perusich in Sedalia, MO. Things are going great with my recovery. I am having some pretty serious behaviors because of moving into our new home, but it is getting better. Lots of screaming and snotting. We had my brother and sister's birthday party last weekend. They turned 2 and 3. I helped them blow out their candles. Mom was so excited that I knew to do that. I've been talking a lot. SO much of it is echolial talk, but at least I am trying so hard to say new words. I am now sleeping on a big big boy bed. I didn't want anything to do with my firetruck bed after we moved. I had to have a twin bed set up for me. I really like it. Dr. Perusich says that he wants to see me every 2 weeks now instead of once a month. They are going to start doing a lot of tests on me starting this month. We are also going to be beginning chelation. This is going to be a very busy time for my family, but I know The Lord above will get us through. I promise to update my videos and photos soon... very soon. Have a great Valentines Day!!! Christmas Greetings... 12/15/2009
Hey everyone... Hope everybody is getting in the Christmas spirit!!! The Lord is so wonderful. I am doing pretty good. We had a great Thanksgiving and have been busy working on my recovery!! Mom went down to Florida for the National Autism Association's Conference in November. She learned so much and got a lot of help from a lot of wonderful people down there that have a lot of experience in Biomedical Treatments for Autism. Thank You National Autism Association for the scholarship to get her down there. We all missed her soooo much, but she came back very impowered. 1 in 91 kids has autism. Bottom line.... We have a lot of work to do to raise awareness of the treatments available for kids like me. I have been doing great. I said my name for the first time 2 weeks ago and even got myself dressed a few days ago. Grandma and Mommy have been trying some great recipes out for me that are new. Mommy got Julie Matthew's book Nourishing Hope and they have really enjoyed cooking me all kinds of new things. I will post again around Christmas and wanted to let everybody know that we really appreciate all of your prayers and thoughts. Love, Clint xoxo Cow's go Moo 11/03/2009
I had my visit today with Dr. Perusich. Everything went very well. He gave me some adjustments and was proud of how much I've grown!!! My nutritionist started me on some new supplements also. While we were there we went on a drive into the country and I got to see cows. I said, "Do you see the cows?", and "Cows go Moo". They were amazing. There were tons of them. A big gray bull came up to the fence and visited with me. He had a furry head. I laughed a lot when I saw him. So now my doctor in Sedalia has set up with another chiropractor in Saint Louis for me to come and get adjustments from him weekly and I'll go to Dr. Perusich once a month for now. I'm going strong with my road to recovery. :) Have a good week, Clint I'm getting to be a big boy.... 10/27/2009
Hey everybody I turn 4 tomorrow!!! I can't wait to open my presents. In other news, 2 days ago I started experimenting with going potty on the big boy chair!!! I told my dad that I was poopy, when he checked me I wasn't so he put me on the potty. I pooped!!! Hee Hee. I am so excited, because everytime I go on the big boy chair I get a treat. I really like it. I like it a lot. I spent the day today with my mom and dad and we went shopping and they got me the new Tinkerbell movie to watch with my brothers and sisters. I like Tink!!! She's my girl. They thought I deserved a special treat for all my efforts. I go to my DAN doctor, Dr. Perusich, on Tuesday next week. I can't wait for them to see my progress. The supplements are going really well for me. Mom got a juicer for me. It makes things a lot easier for everyone. I get veggie smoothies now. I can't say that I am crazy about them, but I drink them because it makes her happy. I will post more next week after my appointment. Pray for our friend Desiree Jennings... 10/23/2009
Some of you may have heard already, but if not there is a cheerleader Desiree Jennings for the Washington Redskins. She received a flu shot and now is vaccine injured. You can follow her story on generationrescue.com. My friends there are going to help her the same way they are helping me. Please pray for her and her family. Love and Blessings, Clint My Spaghetti Dinner... 10/21/2009
Well the benefit to raise money for my treatment went very well. There were all kinds of pretty balloons there and lots of people came out to support my cause. Thanks everyone. My mom and dad were so impressed by my behavior that night. They said they had never seen me that calm around a big group of people before. When my mom gave her presentation I took my seat and listened to every word she had to say. I was so proud of her for speaking on behalf of me and thousands of other kids like me who can't speak for ourselves. It was amazing. Jen and Juice put on a good performance too. Thanks guys. You were amazing. My brother's and sister's were there also and they had a blast getting into everything that my parents and Sara worked so hard on setting up. Hee Hee. All of the auction items were sold except for 2. We had over 50 baskets. My Aunt Lisa (aka..Lassie's) friend got me a very special gift. I got a 16 x 20 Portrait autographed personally to me from Darryl Strawberry. He also gave us an autographed ball in a case. Thanks Darryl!!! We'll have new videos and pictures soon. There are so many Mom just hasn't had a chance to get them up yet. Thanks again to all of you and I love each and every one of you for helping me with my recovery :) Thomas the Tank Engine... 10/13/2009
Hey everybody ... I got to go ride Thomas the train on Saturday. It was sooo much fun. Mommy and Daddy took me thinking it would help my yeast die off/detox. They started my new supplements on October 6th to kill the yeast in my body. I am now taking ultracare for kids (multivitamin) 1 scoop in a shake 2 x per day, ultraflora (probiotic) 1/4 tsp 2 x per day, and a mitochondrial supplement 1 pill crushed in my shake per day, in addition to 4 cod liver oil tabs, 52 drops of cytoflora 2x per day, 15 drops of liver life 2 x per day and 2 B12 Lollipops per day. This has been kind of tough on me and mom and dad also. My body is detoxing right now and getting all the bad stuff out. I have been really snotty and aggitated lately. I've been taking epsom salt baths to help relax me at night and that helps a lot. Daddy went and got me some activated charcoal to take 2x per day to speed the process up. So, today I got to go see my cranial therapist and she mommy some new stuff to help me feel a lot better. I then went and got coffee with mommy and one of her friends. I had a really good day today!!! I'm getting excited about my dinner on Saturday night and I really hope to see all of you there!!! Keep praying for my family and as always I will pray for you. Love, Clint Doctor's Visit 10/03/2009
I saw my doctor yesterday. It was a good visit. They put me on two new supplements in addition to the ones I am already taking. I will be taking Mitochondrial Resuscitate, Ultra Care for Kids (multi vitamin), and Ultra Flora Plus DF for liver detox and control of yeast overgrowth. These will also help to aid in restoring my gastrointestinal function. The benefit is coming along very nicely. A special thank you to my friend Sara for helping Mommy so much. Mommy and Daddy's anniversary was yesterday. I got to spend it with them going to the doctor's office. We had a good time and went to Rocheport, MO and took a hike to the Missouri River. We went down to the shore and I got to run around on a sand bar. We wrote my name in the sand and a barge floated by with a tug boat and it honked at me. I had a blast. That's all I got for right now and I will update soon. Thomas the Kitty Kitty... 09/26/2009
Hey everyone!!! It has been a very good week for me. Today was awesome. I went to the store with my brother Caleb and my sisters and got to ride around in the race car cart!!! I love that thing. I made it through the store without being scared and screaming!!! When we got home my cat Thomas came upstairs to visit me. I said "cat" and then Daddy said that is Thomas the Cat. He always talks to me about Thomas, but today I actually was able to say "Thomas The Kitty Kitty" Mommy and Daddy were soooo excited. I always said a few other things today... I said "car" when we got in the race car cart and when Daddy was TRYING to snooze on the couch I said "Hey Wake Up!!!" LOL and then I jumped on his belly and laughed. It was great. I love my Daddy!!!He's the best. My dinner is coming up so get your RSVP's in if you get to make it. My friends Jen and Juice are playing that night. They are an acoustic band. They Rock!!! See Ya Later!!! |
